What your view of sports and life would be if you had too many concussions
This week finds us at the sixth of the Twelve Greatest Saturdays of the Year. This also brings the 2018 J-Dub Gambling Challenge to a point at which we need to make some decisions based on what we’ve seen on the field. It’s a concept which doesn’t really require an elaborate set-up., so let’s get right to it.
Which is it? (understand that we will consider “both” to be a “chicken-shit” answer)
As far as the bankroll is concerned, I’m finally off the skids. Last week’s action saw a net profit of $375 for the week, which brings the season total to $4,768. That’s not bad considering I started the season with four straight down weeks.
That brings us back to Week 6…the week we may find out either I know what I’m doing when it comes to gambling or I still slice faster than a crack-head working at the deli counter.
Thanks to the Supreme Court, gambling is no longer illegal at Bushwood, sir. However, the Supreme Court can’t really help me unless one of them is willing to keep Mrs. J-Dub from braining me with a cast-iron skillet if she found out how many dimes I’m dropping on college football. That means that as far as she knows, all wagers are mythical in nature and this is in no way, shape, or form a gambling advice column. In other words, if you lose your own “real” money, that’s nobody’s fault but yours, so don’t yell at me when we meet at the plasma center on Monday.
