My Wiener Has A First Name, It’s C-A-S-T-E-R…

That’s right, America. We have yet another episode in the never-ending “dude/not a dude” saga of South African runner Caster Semenya. After 11 months, the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has now decided that Semenya is apparently “female enough” to return to sanctioned competition.

Semenya: Not Exactly Wiener-Free

“The process initiated in 2009 in the case of Caster Semenya has now been completed,” Athletics’ world governing body said in a statement. “The IAAF accepts the conclusion of a panel of medical experts that she can compete with immediate effect.”

It is curious to note that nobody at the IAAF says anything about the definitive results of the test, in fact they are being rather…uhhh… closed-lipped about the whole affair.

“Please note that the medical details of the case remain confidential and the IAAF will make no further comment on the matter.”

Of course, this non-denial denial is intended to kill the controversy that arose when this guy Semenya burst onto the world scene last summer in Berlin where she dominated to win gold in her first major event. However, her dramatic improvement in times and thick, meaty penis muscular build led the IAAF to order the gender verification tests.

After his it’s “her” victory at the World Junior Championship in Germany last August,  Semenya had South Africans lining up to blow her vuvuzela welcome her as a national hero. But then came the reports of the gender tests and stories in the Australian media saying she had both male and female sex organs which caused outrage in her home country and led some public officials to rally behind her.

South African sports minister Makhenkesi Stofile also released a statement, saying it was “great news for Caster and all of us.” We thank Caster for her patience and resilience. We thank her family and coach for their unfailing support. South Africa’s ruling ANC party also made a public statement Tuesday, calling the decision “a vindication of the ANC, her family, our government and all progressive forces who stood behind her during her time of need.” It has always been our long-held view that Caster is a woman and she should have been allowed a long time ago to participate in athletics as a woman,” national spokesman Jackson Mthembu said. “We don’t believe that any aspersion should have been cast on her gender as woman.”

Once again we here at Dubsism are calling for a settlement to this once and for all by the only gender expert we trust.

"That's no guy...that's a Sheila"

After all, who would who you rather trust? “Crocodile” Dundee or some politician who probably pines for the days when pregnant women were forced to squat in caves and likely ate one of his political opponents for lunch?
