The NFL regular season is in the books and the results from our “Pick ‘Em” challenge have been tabulated and confirmed by the accounting firm of Dewey, Dickham, and Howe. That means we can now announce the winner of the “Surprise’s Super Bowl Of Surprises” 2019 Dubsism NFL Pick “Em Challenge. As we speak, the good people at FedUPS are on their way with the package of victor’s spoils earnestly won by “Mr. Mike.”
When we originally announced this challenge, we obviously kept the winnings as a “surprise;” that was really the whole point of having a contest hosted by Surprise the Cat. But now that we have a winner, it’s time to let “Mr. Mike” anticipate his coming treasure trove, and for the rest of you to eat your hearts out at what you could had.
In addition to about 25 bucks worth of the finest the world’s dollar stores have to offer, “Mr. Mike” will also receive other trappings befitting such a victory. The victory package also includes a s a crown, a medal, and a certificate signifying that for one brief moment in time, “Mr. Mike” were better than all the other Dubsists at something.
We offer our sincerest congratulations to “Mr. Mike,” and we hope he will at least let us know who the mystery DORBZ® historical football mini-figurines were. We’ll leave the idea of a photo with the crown and the medal up to his own discretion.
We would be willing to blur out the face as we know that a great deal of Dubsists are escaped mental patients, in the Witness Protection Program, or possibly even closeted homosexuals. Frankly, we here at Dubsism don’t really care what you are, as long as you enjoy being a Dubsist.
In any event, keep Dubsism in your bookmarks because the only thing Surprise the Cat loves more than eating is hosting a sports challenge…and March Madness is only a few months away!

Tough year picking games. Fortunately, when it came to real wagering, I picked my spots.
But picking across the board was brutal this year. I entered not only yours but two other pick ’ems, no point spreads… and finished near the bottom of the barrel.
I took comfort in the fact that when I turned my laptop upside down, I was near the top of the pack.
