The “Seventh Annual Wally Hotvedt College Bowl Challenge” Has A Winner!
The way this challenge was playing out, what with canceled games and having a prohibitive favorite to take down the title (which then somehow entered the title game as am underdog, but then lost…), all signs pointed to the Seventh Annual Wally Hotvedt College Bowl Challenge coming down to tie-breakers. That was until “Mr. Zappy” kicked it into overdrive and basically lapped the field.
By the time we arrived at the Championship Game last night, “Mr. Zappy” held a four-game lead with only the one remaining. But, keeping all things official, we had to wait until all the games were in the books before we made the announcement of a winner official.
As such, “Mr. Zappy” takes home the 50 bucks and the certificate which signifies that for one brief moment in time, he was better than all the other Dubsists at something.
