Read this while playing the opening theme to the movie “Major League” in your head. We’re rolling through the Cleveland to the lake, and part of that means taking a hard look at what the Cleveland Cavaliers accomplished in this post-season run. The city of Cleveland should throw a parade for the Cavaliers, because win or lose, that team exemplified what a team effort is all about. I agree with you about the Lakers, Knicks, and Celtics being the big marquee teams, although Golden State (being in big-market San Francisco and with a new arena coming) needs to take the bull by the horns and overtake the Lakers on the West Coast. This is the time. The Lakers aren’t going to get guys like Kareem, Magic, and Worthy from braindead idiots anytime soon.
