Time is drawing near until Selection Sunday, which means March Madness is here! That also means it’s time for another annual tradition here at Dubsism, an NCAA Basketball Tournament bracket challenge.  But as part of the tenth anniversary of Dubsism, we’ve decided to break the bank on this year’s event…this year, there’s prizes involved! Because the average yearly income of a blogger is somewhere between a professional can recycler and a serial plasma donor, we combed only the finest dollar stores for swag befitting the winner of such a prestigious event.

Here’s what you can win!

1) A Crown

The winner of the Dubsism Basketball Bracket Bonanza is worthy of regal status, and nothing says royalty like your very own crown signifying you are the biggest basketball head in the Dubsiverse customized and bejeweled by Mrs. J-Dub and her Hot Glue Gun Club.

2) Gnomes and a Book*

With a crown comes a throne, and nothing is more important for extended “throne time” than good reading material.  That’s why this gift pack includes a book about the 1957 Boston Celtics hand-signed by your blog and bracket challenge host J-Dub.

4) Scoring

For each successive round, points double:

• 1 point for each correct pick in Round 1
• 2 points for each correct pick in Round 2
• 4 points for each correct pick in the Sweet Sixteen
• 8 points for each correct pick in the Elite Eight
• 16 points for each correct pick in the Final Four
• 32 points for picking the correct Champion

Final Four Bonus

• Correctly predict all Final Four teams and get 25 bonus points

The tie-breaker is correctly picking the total number of points scored in the championship game,. or whoever is closest to that total.
