Just the facts…to commemorate National Police Week, the title of this blog-a-thon says it all. This one is all about your favorite fictional cops. Big screen or small, from Sergeant Joe Friday to Inspector Clouseau, cops have been a staple since the dawn of cinema, and I thought it was high time to explore some of our favorites.
That’s why I wanted to host an event where you can peruse the choices made by some of the most interesting classic film bloggers on the web. Not only are you getting a sampling of the works of said great bloggers, but how can you resist such an arresting topic?
And yes…I know that was first-degree criminal attempted humor…
This will be updated as the contributions come in over the next few days.
Your blog-a-thon host with a Dragnet icon, Los Angeles City Hall. The face has been changed to protect the innocent.
Here’s to some solid reading about everybody’s favorite fictional cops! Not only do I want to thank all the participants and readers, but everybody should keep tabs on my Blog-a-thon page because that’s where new projects are going to be announced for 2019 and beyond!

Thank for this amazing contribution. Joe Friday is such an icon I was happy to see him get not one, but two mentions in this event!
