Here we are on Sunday of one of the truly great sports weekends. Through various cosmic influences, this year saw a “harmonic convergence” with three of the Four Vernal Festivals on the Dubsism Liturgical Calendar all occurring on the same weekend.
But specific to this piece, this is all about Sunday at The Masters. As play starts in the final round, 2011 champion Charl Schwartzel is near the top of the leader board, but he’s also a clear contender to take down the honors in an Adam Carolla look-alike contest.
Not only that, but we here at Dubsism have completely fake visually compelling evidence that the former Love Line host and current podcasting giant likes to visit Augusta National, break into Schwartzel’s locker, don his green jacket, and pass himself off as Schwartzel’s American-born brother. From what we can tell, that’s how Carolla explains the obvious difference between his South African “brother’s” distinct “Afrikaaner” accent and his own overly-nasal “Brooklyn-ese.”
