Last time out, the future Hall-of-Famer looked as such, tossing a complete game victory. This time out was a bit of a different story; Moyer was on the recieving end of an artillery barrage that would have given Edmund L. Gruber cannon envy.
Moyer took 40 pitches just to get out of the first inning, and his 62nd pitch in the second inning was his last; the crafty left-hander gave up 8 earned runs marking worst start of the 2010 campaign thus far.
The only tidbit of note from this train-wreck was Moyer nudged closer to Robin Roberts all-time mark for home runs allowed (505) by serving up a two-run shot to Red Sox third baseman Mike Lowell for #502.
